Set your preferences
Preferences change how recipes look to you: metric or US measures, Celsius or Fahrenheit, your paper size, your language. They never change the recipe itself, so everyone sharing a library can read it their own way.
Change your preferences
Section titled “Change your preferences”- Open the menu at the top of the page and choose Preferences.
- Change the settings you want.
- Choose Save preferences.
Preferences are saved to your account, so they follow you to any device you sign in on. A setting you haven’t chosen shows the default it uses, such as “Default (A4)”.
What you can set

Measures and temperatures are set separately, so you can read metric amounts with Fahrenheit oven temperatures.
For Microwave output, use the cooking output on your microwave’s label, not its power consumption. Leave it empty to keep recipe timings as written. See microwave times.
Languages
Section titled “Languages”Your recipe languages are a list in order. When a dish has translations, your library shows the one in your first language that’s available.
If you haven’t chosen an interface language, Savorum uses your administrator’s default, then your browser’s language, then English. Dates and times use your interface language and Timezone.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- If your Savorum has no sign-in, everyone shares one set of preferences, and the page tells you so.
- Your administrator can set the defaults for everyone.
- Your browser’s language is used only when Savorum has a complete, reviewed translation for it. A language marked as a preview is used only if you choose it, and anything not yet translated appears in English.
- The batch size is remembered for each recipe, and measurements you choose while reading a recipe are saved here.
- Choices on the print form apply to that print only. For lasting print settings, set them here.
